Maori legend quiz: battle of the mountains

Hi,
In my Reading Workshops I have been learning to ask good quality questions. I have created a quiz using a program called scratch to use with the Maori legend called Battle of the Mountains that we have been reading.
use full screen on the scratch project that I put here and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!
by the way, there is only one part... for now...

how to use: click the big, green flag in the centre of the screen. Enter the code that is 4562, if it refuses to show up. answer the questions and have fun!

An epic Maths adventure (or not)...

Hi and it's Flynn here, with some maths stuff! the strategy that the square uses is quite simple. you make one number into a tidy number (that generally ends with a zero) and add what you took off to the other number. then just add them together! easy!

Instructions of use: hold down the right arrow key and watch the animation. Try and use the maths strategy that the square uses. I hope you like this! :D

p.s: the "YouTube video" at the end of the animation is just an image so DON'T click the play button. seriously. I mean it.

Culture

Culture

Hi guys and welcome to my latest blog post. This time we are learning about our culture and where we originate from. We are also learning about traditions, religions, food from different cultures, and more. I hope you enjoy and please give me feedback about this especially if you don’t like it. A quick note about commenting: please don’t put comments such as ‘hi’ or ‘hello’. Thank you for your cooperation.

My culture

As you may already know from reading my other blog posts, My name is Flynn, which is an Irish name. But you may not know that it was just a random name, chosen randomly. (actually, it wasn’t just random, it was chosen over several other names that my grandparents didn’t agree with) so I come from New Zealand and I am catholic. But I am not Maori and have no Maori ancestors. My ancestry originates in Europe. I have NO idea who originated from there... actually yes I do. it was my great grandfather who was on a boat to Napier from Sweden. he jumped ship at new Plymouth because he liked it here. he got married to an Irish woman. So from what I know, I have no famous ancestors or evil ancestors (or so I think…)  so basically let’s sum it up.
I have no famous or infamous ancestors
I don’t really have any traditions... wait yes I do! So I have a younger brother called... actually I’m not going to tell you. So on his birthday, I get a mini present! (the same thing applies for my birthday though) my mum introduced this tradition. (hey, someone's got to introduce them)
I am New Zealand european.

So I guess that basically sums it up! This has been a privilege talking to you so if you wish to know more, tell me in he comments and I will tell you. Thanks for reading this! bye! :)
